In order to increase access to its next software update, Samsung has announced the extension of its One UI 8.5 beta program to more Galaxy devices.

The beta is currently accessible for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, Samsung Galaxy A36, and the Galaxy S23 range, which includes the Galaxy S23 FE.

A few countries, including the US, UK, Korea, and India, are launching the beta program. When the beta is made accessible, users in these markets can sign up via the Samsung Members app, where a banner will show up.

As stated by Samsung, the distribution of the beta program is slow, which means that not all qualified customers will be able to access it right away.

On more recent Galaxy devices, the One UI 8.5 beta offers capability for AirDrop-like file sharing via Quick Share. The Samsung Galaxy S25 series, the Samsung Galaxy S24 family, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 are all currently compatible with this functionality.

Later this month, more Galaxy devices will be added to the One UI 8.5 beta program, according to Samsung.
