Weather App Outage Confirmed by Apple

By

On Tuesday, iPhone users are having trouble using the Apple iOS Weather app, at least in the United States.

Millions of people use the normal Weather app on a daily basis, however not all of them can use the app. Weather problems are being reported by bewildered and irate iPhone owners on X and Reddit. Some claim they don’t remember the app ever crashing before.

The app was inaccessible to some Mashable employees in the United States. Although it took around ten seconds to load, one of our editors was able to access it. The app is now experiencing an outage, according to the Apple online help page.

There isn’t a page for the Weather app on DownDetector, a platform where people can report problems with well-known websites and apps. DownDetector does, however, display abrupt jumps in Apple Support and The Weather Channel app.

Over the past year, internet disruptions have gotten more frequent, although significant outages within the Apple ecosystem are still uncommon.
