The second set of games that will be removed from Xbox Game Pass in May 2026 has been made public. Metaphor: On May 31, ReFantazio, Persona 4 Golden, Spray Simulator, Crypt Custodian, and Against the Storm will no longer be available with Xbox and PC Game Pass.
Games leaving Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on May 31
Sadly, this most recent batch of departures from the Xbox Game Pass collection includes a double blow from producer Atlus, among other great games. Persona 4 Golden was not anticipated to be removed, even though we did attempt to alert you of Metaphor ReFantazio’s departure from the service.
Both Crypt Custodian and Spray Paint Simulator may be finished in less than 15 hours, making them ideal for anybody with limited time during the next two weeks who want to finish a few tasks. Although there seem to be some challenging milestones in Crypt Custodian, they should be simpler to complete if you use the game’s gameplay assistance features. For assistance with the 1,000G Spray Paint Simulator, see our comprehensive achievement walkthrough.
Persona 4 Golden comes next, and it takes less than 100 hours to finish. Earning the 1,000G is a difficult task because this achievement list is jam-packed with time-consuming and missable accomplishments. Only about 1,000 of the 30,000 TrueAchievments members who began the RPG have completed it.
Why not play Atlus’ Metaphor: ReFantazio if you’ve already finished Persona 4 Golden? Completing the 44 milestones in this role-playing game will take 100 to 120 hours. As with P4G, there are a lot of missables on the list, so be sure to look for them while playing.
And then, there’s the dark fantasy city builder Against the Storm, which you probably won’t finish before it departs Game Pass unless you’ve already started. It takes 200–300 hours to unlock every accomplishment in the main game alone.
