The Amazon product page for Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis lists a Steam release date of February 10, 2027. The game is described as a reimagining of the original 1996 Tomb Raider, taking players to Peru, Greece, Egypt and a mysterious Mediterranean island in a quest to find the scattered pieces of the Scion artefact as Lara Croft.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis reimagines Lara Croft’s first adventure. In addition to the new gameplay and “new surprises that honour the spirit of the original”, the visuals have, of course, been given a major upgrade. Nintendo platform users can expect “the same cinematic scale and fluid gameplay, fully optimized” for the hardware.
The advertisement stated that the journey would feature players traversing ancient ruins, navigating challenging landscapes, solving puzzles and facing terrifying animals. The project still emphasises the goal of preserving the spirit and atmosphere of Lara Croft’s first adventure, but with new material, modernised gameplay and visuals running on Unreal Engine 5.
The game details and release date are only available on the Amazon page and there hasn’t been any other formal announcement made to back the information.
