Outlook Down, Microsoft Reported Issues

By

On Monday morning, employees who were attempting to connect into Microsoft Outlook encountered unforeseen issues, including error warnings and unexpected signouts.

The business acknowledged that some Microsoft 365 Business and Enterprise customers were experiencing a service interruption on its official Microsoft service status page and referred them to X for further details.

Certain customers were unable to log in to the email program, according to the Microsoft 365 Status page on X.

MicroSoft said on its X page:

“We’ve discovered some users may experience intermittent sign-in failures, including ‘too many requests’ errors, or unexpected sign-outs. In order to determine any possible next steps and mitigating actions, we are further analysing service telemetry.”

The Microsoft 365 Status X account released an additional update at approximately 9:35 a.m. ET, indicating that the problems were still present.

Additionally, the platform DownDetector noted an increase in user error reports starting Monday morning at approximately 5 a.m. ET, with most users citing login difficulties as the cause. As American workers started their workweek on Monday morning, Microsoft Outlook problem reports kept rising.

Microsoft users on X, however, bemoaned the fact that they were still unable to access Outlook and chastised Microsoft for providing insufficient details about the problem. The Microsoft 365 support profile on X refers users back to the website status page, whereas the Microsoft service status page points them to X for further details.

There was also a January outage with Microsoft Outlook.
