Someone who is thought to be an insider in the gaming business has revealed a Nintendo Direct date. Nintendo hosts streams called Nintendo Directs to provide additional information about its upcoming releases. They can be specialized to a single game or film, but they typically concentrate on a variety of games that are released across its suite of hardware, such as the Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch.
In this instance, Jeff Grubb has already stated that a Direct featuring several game announcements would take place shortly. He has now narrowed that down and stated that a Nintendo Direct is “likely on Tuesday (9 June) morning” in the most recent episode of the Last of the Nintendogs podcast.
He believes there would be an announcement on Tuesday morning, but he acknowledged that time zones can alter announcement timings.
Gamers have been voicing their opinions in the comments section of the GamingLeaksAndRumours Subreddit since this was released, and many of them have revealed what they would like to see revealed if a Direct occurs soon.
One said:
“Expect Ocarina of Time Remake here since it launches this holiday.”
Another commented:
“Nintendo do like their Tuesdays.”
Another person added:
“Just give me Fire Emblem man. Hopefully it releases in August and not September.”
As of this writing, there is no official confirmation of a date in June Nintendo Direct.
