Customers who are irritated with the troubles have flocked to social media to express their frustration; one person has apparently experienced TV problems. Mr. Nash, an X user, claimed he attempted to check the service in his area but was unable. He attached a photo of his TV screen that shows the image fracturing.

On Downdetector, users reported seeing “pixelated channels” and experiencing audio and visual issues that prevented them from watching TV.

A Virgin Media spokesperson said:

“We’re aware that some customers are currently experiencing pixelation issues with their television services and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our teams are working as a priority to identify the fault and restore services to normal as soon as possible.”

One customer reported:

“Most channels on TIVO pixalated – OK till 20 minutes ago – cannot get current service status from Virgin.”

An X user tagged the service provider, asking:

“What’s up with your service? Pixellating on all channels.”

The official Virgin Media account responded to another user apologising for the outage. It said:

“We’re aware of the issue and our engineers are investigating”.
