On Tuesday, June 2 at 5:00 p.m. ET, The State of Play will broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube. Sony has also arranged for special Alamo Drafthouse screenings for the State of Play, with the same free lotto seatings that Xbox’s FanFest events have.

Sony said on Wednesday that it will host a larger-than-normal PlayStation gaming expo on June 2. We’ll undoubtedly receive updates and fresh information on a number of other future PS5 games, even if Marvel’s Wolverine will be the main attraction. It will take an hour to complete.

In a recent article on the PlayStation blog, Sony stated:

“To kick things off, you’ll get a closer look at Marvel’s Wolverine. Insomniac Games will share more from its upcoming third-person action-adventure game showing off Logan’s brutal and relentless combat along with some new details. This all-new take on the comic book legend launches on PS5 September 15.”

Whether we will finally receive confirmation of the new God of War game that Santa Monica Studio is allegedly working on is one of the most important issues surrounding the presentation. Fans thought the team would be developing a new franchise, but a leaker.

According to NateTheHate, it would be a spin-off that would follow Faye instead of Kratos, but it would take place in the same universe as the current God of War series. Christopher Judge, a voice actor, had hinted that further information regarding an impending project would be released this summer.

A God of War remake trilogy and Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, which we haven’t heard much about yet, are among Sony’s other planned projects. Meanwhile, Guerrilla Games is developing Horizon Hunters Gathering, a multiplayer Horizon spin-off.

Additionally, there was a recent report that PlayStation was seeking to bring back earlier franchises, though it’s unclear if this means we’ll eventually get a new Ape Escape or just have better access to Sony’s current collection of classics.

However, third-party revelations are the main focus of PlayStation showcases, so everyone will be watching for a new Grand Theft Auto 6 teaser unless it is released in the coming weeks. It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new about this year’s bigger blockbuster, and Sony supposedly has a marketing agreement with Rockstar Games.
