Nintendo has finally recognized the existence of Splatoon Raiders after months of silence. After the launch of a brand-new teaser on Nintendo Today!, we now know that the game will launch on the Switch 2 on July 23, 2026, and will retail digitally for £41.99 or $49.99. The physical version costs $59.99 in the US (UK pricing TBC).

Playing as the Mechanic, you will accompany the Deep Cut Trio from Splatoon 3 as they explore the Spirhalite Islands. You will also be ink-splattering some recognizable critters while looking for treasure on this stunning, desolate desert island.

As a mechanic, you can also create your own tools and weapons to combat the many monsters on the island. Furthermore, it seems that Big Man, Shiver, as well as Frye will be useful in battles. You can play Splatoon with up to three people both locally and online, so don’t worry if you enjoy playing with friends.

Nintendo has confirmed the Splatoon Raiders single-player focus and that three new amiibo—one for each member of Deep Cut—will be released on the same day. Later today, pre-orders for the amiibo and Splatoon Raiders will open.
